EDUCATOR WORKSHOPS

Are you a teacher, educator, or school professional? Browse our interactive and meaningful workshops. They equip schools and educators with tools to support Black students with dyslexia. Plus, learn how to address the systemic inequities at the intersection of racism and ableism in your school.

WORKSHOP OFFERINGS

Our workshops help school staff recognize the early signs of dyslexia and understand its impact on learning. They also share effective strategies and practical techniques to support students with dyslexia. With the intersection of dyslexia and race in mind, educators can create more inclusive environments. This leads to improved educational outcomes for Black students and eliminates literacy inequities.

Workshops cover dyslexia in the school setting. Participants will learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of dyslexia. You’ll leave knowing how dyslexia identification and access to intervention are impacted by structural inequities.

WORKSHOPS FOR FAMILIES

Schools and community organizations can book our 60-75 minute virtual workshops designed to empower parents and caregivers of children with dyslexia.

Our workshops offer an accessible introduction to literacy, dyslexia, and advocacy while including a free drop-in session for personalized one-on-one or small-group support. This added feature allows parents and caregivers to ask questions and receive tailored guidance.
